Sony may not have the same level of glory it did in times of old, but the company still makes mighty fine smartphones (especially if you're looking for something that stands out from the crowd) and continues to hold a certain degree of popularity in Europe and its home market of Japan. Sony phones have definitely settled into their own design language over the years, especially with its latest entries — refusing to adopt notches, keeping thin bezels, and incorporating features like 21:9 displays. Today we're checking out the first renders of the Xperia 1 IV, and from the look of this upcoming 2022 flagship, Sony sure plans to continue that trend.
