Augmented Reality, or AR, can be a fun and valuable tool, especially when teaching children. One of the best implementations we've seen so far is Google's 3D Animals, which lets you look at and interact with over a hundred animals of different varieties. This presents a way for children to see wild animals in their living room and even interact with them, all without endangering them or the creature itself. Aside from the educational aspect, seeing a tiger or dinosaur in your living room is fantastic, no matter your age.
